Hello & Nice to "Meet" You

Rachel is a Licensed Acupuncturist and graduate from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA), MCPHS, with a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine (MAOM). She is Board Certified Diplomate in Oriental Medicine through the National Certification Commission  for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She received the Compassionate Healer Award, awarded by the NESA Faculty.

 

Rachel's comprehensive training in East Asian Medicine included Traditional Chinese Medicine principles and techniques, Japanese-style Acupuncture, Orthopedic-style Acupuncture, Facial/Cosmetic-style Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Nutrition, Lifestyle, Energy Cultivation Techniques, Bodywork; complete with over 1,000 hours of patient-centered clinical experience. She is also a research acupuncturist at Mass General Brigham, Napadow Laboratory, working on studies investigating the patient-provider relationship.

 

Additional highlights include: 500-hr Registered Yoga Teacher including the 300-hr Fluid Yoga Teacher Program, a B.S. in Nutrition, trained Reiki II practitioner, and has over a decade of non-profit and AmeriCorps service before being called to change her career.

 

Rachel is passionate about providing individualized care to support patients' health and well-being. She is honored to leverage her diverse experiences and knowledge to ease suffering and support healing in each patient-centered encounter.

 

When not practicing medicine, Rachel is a new mom to her son, enjoys spending time with her family including a dog and cat, and being in nature.
